For most of the Northern hemisphere, Summer is waning. The days are drawing in, the nights getting longer, and fires are lit as we hunker down for 4 months of soups and cocoa. In Scotland however, September is an Indian summer. August we get rain, September we get sunshine; one last hurrah before the dying of the light.
